Baker Rae’s is a licensed and insured home-based scratch bakery located in Leadville, CO. We provide pickup orders and service local events. Rae, owner and operator of Baker Rae’s, was born and raised in Parker, Colorado. At the age of 18, she made the decision to go plant-based because of her innate empathy for animals. Soon realizing the very limited amount of dairy-free, egg-free sweets in her community, she made the decision to make them more accessible to others who were struggling in the same position. In 2020, Rae began a journey of recipe and development of pastries and confections through hours of online research and eventual experience as both a Pastry Chef and Chocolatier at vegan bakeries and sustainable-focused restaurants. After hundreds of trials and errors, Rae landed on the first Sweet Snacc that would ignite the opening of her own bakery business- the Original Banana Bread Mallow Pie! Baker Rae’s now has a variety of Mallow Pies, chocolates and other dreamy sweets accessible to our local community, and strives to eventually offer them internationally.
